Everton sign Williams

Everton have completed the signing of central defender Ashley Williams from Swansea City on a three-year contract for an undisclosed fee.
The 31-year-old central defender, who captained Wales in their march to the Euro 2016 semi-finals, has signed a three-year deal to June 2019.
Sky sources understand Everton had agreed a fee of £12m on Tuesday for the centre back.
Everton’s capture of Williams makes him the club’s sixth signing of the summer.
A former Welsh Player of the Year, Williams helped Wales to their first ever Euro 2016 semi-final this summer in the Dragons’ first appearance in a major finals for 58 years and has spoken of his determination to embrace a new challenge and create new, exciting memories at Everton.
Williams said: “I’ve had eight great years at Swansea and, for me, the new challenge was something I felt I needed, so I’m delighted to have joined Everton.
