USA looking to close out pool C undefeated against Switzerland on day five

Rio de Janeiro, August 10, 2016 – April Ross/Kerri Walsh Jennings of the United States are looking to finish pool C undefeated while Switzerland’s Isabelle Forrer/Anouk Verge-Depre are looking to win their second pool play match and advance to the elimination stage.  A win by the United States will clinch pool C, while a loss will drop them to 2-1 along with Switzerland.  The results of the China (1-1) and Australia (0-2) match will determine who advances to the elimination stage.
