Altuve returns from day off with 4-for-4 night

MINNEAPOLIS — His first day off of the season clearly did wonders for Astros second baseman Jose Altuve.
Altuve, who sat out Monday’s series opener at Target Field after playing in 202 consecutive games, went 4-for-4 in Tuesday’s 7-5 win over the Twins to push his streak of reaching base safely on the road to 39 games. It’s the seventh time this season he’s had four hits in a game, six of which have come on the road.
