Scherzer gets 200th K, then loses no-hit bid in 7th

WASHINGTON — Max Scherzer did not allow a hit to the Indians for 6 1/3 innings on Tuesday night, yielding the first knock to Francisco Lindor with one out in the seventh.
The Nationals right-hander retired the first 13 batters before walking Tyler Naquin with two outs in the fifth. Cleveland catcher Roberto Perez came closest to a hit through the first six when he sent a drive to the wall in center field, but Ben Revere made a leaping catch against the fence for the first out of the inning.
