Blues Plan New Practice Rink in Creve Coeur

ST. LOUIS – As part of the St. Louis Blues’ ongoing efforts to grow youth hockey in the community, the club announced Tuesday that plans are being made to build a new state-of-the-art facility with multiple ice rinks in Creve Coeur Park.
The facility is expected to open in 2018 and will serve as the official practice rink of the St. Louis Blues while also providing ice for youth hockey organizations throughout the area.
“We know there is great enthusiasm for youth hockey in our region,” said St. Louis County Executive Steve Stenger. “But there has been a shortage of ice rink space to accommodate this booming interest.
