In part three of our pundits’ XI reveal, Jeff Stelling talks us through his Sky Sports Fantasy Football team.
We’ve already seen who Charlie Nicholas and Matt Le Tissier are selecting, but now it’s time for the Soccer Saturday host to show his hand.
Here’s who Jeff has selected and his justifications…
Fraser Forster (£6.4m) – He’s quite a bit cheaper than the most expensive options and did well after coming back from a bad injury and kept plenty of clean sheets. He’s also behind a nice strong and settled back four at Southampton now.
Ryan Shawcross (£6.8m) – He’s a reliable option who is always a threat from set-pieces and you know Stoke will inevitably keep a few clean sheets.
Virgil van Dijk (£8.1m) – He was great last season and looks like a midfielder in terms of how he is on the ball. He always looks like he’s going to get a goal, not just as a threat in the air but also because he’s so good on the …
