- Updated: August 9, 2016
Are you like us here at PokerNews HQ, bursting with excitement for the 2016 PokerNews Cup? Well, the wait is almost over because on the evening of August 10, the King’s Casino in Rozvadov, Czech Republic comes alive with poker players from around Europe, all hoping to bag some cash in at least one of the seven events on the 2016 PokerNews Cup schedule.
Kicking off this spectacular six-day festival is a €110 buy-in no-limit hold’em event known as the PokerNews Cup Opening. This tournament has a €10,000 guaranteed prize pool, and you can reenter twice should Lady Luck not be shining down on you from the word go.
The most eagerly anticipated tournament on the schedule has to be the 2016 PokerNews Cup Main Event, not least because it gives players the opportunity to turn a €250 investment into a share of a guaranteed €250,000.
With four starting flights, the first of which takes place at 4:00 p.m. local time on August 11, and re-entry available on each of the Day 1s, you have plenty of chances to get involved in Europe’s must-play low buy-in tournament of the year.
