VTB United League – VEF Riga adds Skele to their roster

ArmandsSkele VEF Riga (LBL) added to their roster 33-year old international guard Armands Skele (192-83). He played last season at Valmiera/ORDO in Latvian LBL league. In 37 games he recorded 9.5ppg, 4.0rpg and 2.6apg. Skele helped them to win the regular season. A very spectacular year in his career as he was voted to Eurobasket.com All-Latvian League Honorable Mention and to the All-Star Game. Skele also played 18 games in Baltic League where he averaged 11.2ppg, 4.7rpg, 2.3apg and 1.2spg. He contributed to his team making it to the semifinals. Great season indeed as he was voted to Eurobasket.com All-Baltic League Honorable Mention. The other team Skele played shortly was Barons Riga. In three LBL …
