De Boer confirmed as Inter boss

Frank de Boer has been officially confirmed as the new head coach of Inter Milan on a three-year contract.
The Dutchman will be unveiled by the Serie A club at a news conference on Tuesday afternoon and was approached to become the next Nerazzurri boss after Roberto Mancini’s departure on Monday.
Former Manchester City manager Mancini left the San Siro by mutual consent due to a breakdown in his relationship with the board.
A statement on the club’s website confirmed De Boer’s appointment as his successor had been rubber-stamped under ambitious new owners Suning Holdings.
