Stones close to City move

John Stones is on the brink of completing his transfer from Everton to Manchester City, according to Sky sources.
The deal is “all but done” – according to Sky sources – and confirmation could come in the next 24 hours, but certainly before the end of the week.
The news comes after Stones was named in Manchester City’s Champions League squad, according to UEFA’s official website.
UEFA confirmed: “The squad had to be submitted before midnight last night, and that was the squad we received from City.”
