With less than a week to go until start of the Premier League season, we challenged the Soccer Saturday pundits to pick their players to shine in the 2016/17 campaign.

Dimitri Payet emerged from obscurity to capture the imagination for West Ham last season, while a young Dele Alli made a stunning impact for Tottenham in his first Premier League campaign.

The majority of the talk surrounds big-name managerial arrivals and Paul Pogba’s potential world-record move ahead of the opening the weekend, but the Soccer Saturday pundits have picked some players to steal the headlines in the new season.
