Five Heads-Up GPL Matches Worth Watching from The Season’s First Half

The Global Poker League has gotten through the first half of its ambitious, inaugural season.
Storylines have started to emerge, with the Montreal Nationals and Moscow Wolverines racing out to the top of their respective conferences while the Las Vegas Moneymakers and Berlin Bears languish in the basements. A mix of established names like Olivier Busquet and Martin Jacobson and less well-known faces like Scott Ball and Jason Lavallee have starred as the top scorers in the league.
With all that in mind as the GPL takes a break for a few weeks before the stretch run, here’s a look at some of the top heads-up matches of the first half of the season.
