Sarah Sjostrom On Target To Capture Elusive Gold Medal & World Record In 100 Fly

It’s a one-woman race: Sarah Sjostrom vs. the clock.
The world-record holder and two-time defending world champion, Sjostrom gave her global standard a scare in the semifinals of the 100 butterfly, checking in at 55.84 to miss the mark by two tenths. No worries. She’ll have another go at it in the championship final, where Sjostrom is expected to be unchallenged.
