Brewers prospect Coulter moved up to Double-A

PHOENIX — While one notable Brewers Minor Leaguer was on his way up this week, another was on the way out.
Clint Coulter, an outfielder ranked No. 8 on MLBPipeline.com’s list of Milwaukee’s top prospects, was promoted to Double-A Huntsville on Friday from Class A Advanced Brevard County, where he had been grinding through his least productive season since the Brewers drafted Coulter 27th overall in 2012. Coulter was hitting .220/.285/.333 in 87 games before the promotion.
