Mick Foley Talks Progress In Women’s Division, Charlotte And Sasha Banks’ Title Match On RAW

Mick Foley was interviewed recently by Tim Kail on The Work of Wrestling Podcast. Foley discussed progress in the Women’s division, as well as his thoughts on Charlotte and Sasha Banks, specifically commenting on their WWE Women’s Championship match on RAW . This was Foley’s first interview since becoming the New Raw General Manager.
Foley was asked about his thoughts on women’s wrestling. When asked if he was specfically pleased with the progression, Foley responded, “I am. There were definitely some bumps in the road. I think we can expect some more. But I think the victory for Sasha was really monumental, like a seismic shift. Hopefully, we will be seeing it as a statement.”
The hardcore legend later discussed his Facebook blog post regarding Sasha Banks’ WWE Women’s Championship victory on Raw.
