Eric Ebron Injury: Updates on Lions Star’s Leg and Return

Tight end Eric Ebron continues to develop into a quality weapon for the Detroit Lions offense, but his progress may have hit a major speed bump when he suffered a leg injury at practice on Saturday.

Ebron Carted off Field Saturday, Aug. 6
Per Tim Twentyman of the Lions’ official website, Ebron was loaded onto a cart unable to put pressure on his right leg.
Kyle Meinke of MLive.com posted a picture on Twitter of Ebron being taken off the field on the cart:

Lions head coach Jim Caldwell declined to comment on the injury, per ESPN’s Michael Rothstein, while general manager Bob Quinn simply said “injuries happen in football” and declined to comment on what the issue was.
