Wimbledon champion Andy Murray was relieved after avoiding any mishaps as Team GB’s flag bearer at Rio’s Olympic opening ceremony on Friday.
The Scot’s first experience in the role did not go according to plan earlier in the week during a photo call, as he was unable to get the flag in the right position before entirely hiding the face of the Princess Royal, stood next to him, in an attempt to make up for his faux pas.
