Atlanta Falcons cornerback Desmond Trufant suffered an injury during the team’s practice Friday.

Trufant Out with Hip Injury Friday, Aug. 5
Per D. Orlando Ledbetter of the Atlanta Journal-Constitution, Trufant suffered a hip injury that forced him to exit the field.
Per Andrew Hirsh of the team’s official website, Falcons head coach Dan Quinn said Trufant could have played Friday if needed, adding the defensive back will “probably be back in the mix here Sunday.”
