One Championship Unveils Huge Grappling Tournament; Shinya Aoki to Compete

One Championship, the largest mixed martial arts promotion in Asia, is getting into the grappling business. One officials announced on Friday that One Grappling Challenge Macao will precede One: Heroes of the World, which takes place Aug. 13 from inside the Venetian Macao’s Cotai Arena. The tournament will be held from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. local time and will follow IBJJF rules. The event boasts a collective of $50K in prize money and will feature three divisional brackets, depending on experience and belt color: beginner, advanced and elite.
