Tottenham rounded off their pre-season with an emphatic 6-1 win over Inter Milan during a friendly in Norway on Friday afternoon.

Harry Kane bagged a brace and opened the scoring after five minutes with Kyle Waker brought down by Cristian Ansaldi in the box to win a penalty that was duly converted by the England striker. 

Inter briefly got back level after a well-taken goal from Ivan Perisic, but the impressive Erik Lamela added a super second for Spurs just before half-time.

Tottenham then raced away with the game in the second half, with Dele Alli adding the third followed by Kane’s second, and further strikes from summer signing Vincent Janssen and youngster Shayon Harrison to complete a positive afternoon for Mauricio Pochettino.

Spurs will now return to England to prepare for their opening game against Everton in the Premier League on Saturday, 13 August. 

It took five minutes for the game to sees its first goal. Walker was brought down in the box by Ansaldi and the referee pointing to the spot despite protests from the Inter defender. It was captain Kane who stepped up, and he rifled his spot-kick down the middle to put Spurs ahead.
