Rooney signs new deal

Aberdeen striker Adam Rooney has signed a contract extension that will see him remain at Pittodrie until the summer of 2020.
Since arriving at Aberdeen in January 2014, Rooney has made 106 appearances (17 as a substitute) and has scored 60 goals for the club, including 14 from the penalty spot.
The 28-year-old told the club’s official website: “When you make a decision about your future there are a number of factors to think about but in truth this was an easy decision.
