Virginia Pushing for Redskins Stadium Friday, Aug. 5
According to Dan Steinberg of the Washington Post, McAuliffe revealed Friday in an ESPN 980 interview that the state of Virginia is making a push to become the new home of the Redskins:
I view this as a Virginia team. I know they’re in Maryland right now. But a majority of the season ticket holders are Virginians, all the players live in Virginia, we have all of your [practice] …
