Josh Norman Responds to Patrick Peterson’s Social Media Comments on Redskins CB

Washington Redskins cornerback Josh Norman isn’t just duking it out with New York Giants wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr.
On Thursday, he went after Arizona Cardinals cornerback Patrick Peterson after he questioned Norman’s ratings in the upcoming Madden NFL 17 video game. Norman told ESPN.com’s John Keim:
That guy? Come on, man. Be No. 4 and be happy. Come on, don’t talk about me, I’m not talking about you. I mean, I’ll still continue to work and try to be better than No. 1. Where that is, I don’t know, but I’m working toward that. Obviously he’s somewhere trolling other people. He should be worried about what he’s doing on the field and if he gets beat up this year. He shouldn’t be trolling me.
Norman is rated 94 overall in Madden 17, just one point higher than No. 2 corner Chris Harris Jr. of the Denver Broncos, via EASports.com. Norman’s All-Pro season with the Carolina Panthers in 2015 helped him not only get that ranking but also earn a five-year, $75 million deal over the offseason with the Redskins.
