A review of Thursday’s action from Brighton, where top jumps trainer Alan King saddled another winner on the level.

“He didn’t quite get the mile and three-quarters at Sandown but this mile and a half looks his trip.

“There was a big question mark about him handling the track as he is a big horse, but he handled it, while he was in front plenty soon enough.

“Today was a big prize for him and I am sure the boss has got a smile on his face.”

Mark Brisbourne ended a 227-day search for a winner after Storm Lightning (16/1) got the better of a tight finish to the Celebrating 233yrs of Racing At Brighton Handicap.
