Thistlecrack going over fences

Trainer Colin Tizzard would be happy to pursue the Cheltenham Gold Cup dream with Thistlecrack if the brilliant staying hurdler can prove his worth over fences this season.
The eight-year-old enjoyed a truly stunning campaign last term, winning each of his five starts, including in the World Hurdle at Cheltenham and the Liverpool Hurdle at Aintree.
Thistlecrack is set to pursue a career over larger obstacles this autumn and while he will be a novice, he is a best-priced 8/1 joint-favourite for the Gold Cup.
