Jose ‘aura’ impresses Rooney

Manchester United captain Wayne Rooney has been impressed by new manager Jose Mourinho’s low-key approach since arriving at Old Trafford.
Rooney gave his observations after his testimonial match against former club Everton, which finished in a 0-0 draw on Wednesday night.
The match was Mourinho’s first in charge at home, and the final game before Sunday’s Community Shield meeting with champions Leicester at Wembley.
Two of Mourinho’s predecessors, Sir Alex Ferguson and David Moyes, were in the stand to show their appreciation for Rooney’s 12 years at United and the striker insisted that Mourinho has yet to adopt the same confrontational style as Fergie.
“He’s not someone who is going to come in – at the moment, he hasn’t anyway – and start throwing things,” said Rooney.
