ANAHEIM — Angels designated hitter Albert Pujols picked up his bullpen, driving a two-run, walk-off home run to left field off A’s reliever Ryan Dull to give the Angels an 8-6 win on Wednesday night.
After center fielder Mike Trout smartly slid to avoid the tag at first base on a throwing error from Ryon Healy, Pujols took a 3-1 pitch from Dull and rocketed it into the stands, giving Pujols his 20th career walk-off (tied with David Ortiz for the most in the Majors since 2000) and 12th via the home run ball.
