Kershaw transferred to 60-day disabled list

DENVER — Dodgers left-hander Clayton Kershaw was transferred to the 60-day disabled list Wednesday and will not be eligible to return to the active roster until at least Aug. 27.
Kershaw hasn’t pitched since June 26 in Pittsburgh. He was originally placed on the 15-day DL retroactive to June 27, and hasn’t resumed throwing because of a back disk herniation.
