Diame signs for Newcastle

Newcastle United have confirmed the signing of midfielder Mohamed Diame from Hull City.
The 29-year-old Senegal international has put pen to paper on a three-year deal with the Magpies after passing his medical and agreeing personal terms.
Diame’s transfer fee has not been disclosed but Newcastle triggered the move when they agreed to meet the £4.5m release clause in his contract with the Tigers.
Hull had hoped to keep hold of Diame, who scored the winning goal in last season’s Championship play-off final against Sheffield Wednesday, after …
