UFC 202’s Colby Covington: ‘I’m not just a wrestler anymore’

American Top Team’s Colby Covington has utilized his 2x All American collegiate wrestling experience to amass a 9-1 professional record and 4-1 inside of the UFC. At UFC 202: Diaz vs. McGregor II on August 20, 2016, Colby ‘Chaos’ Covington will be welcoming UFC newcomer Max Griffin to the infamous octagon. Covington spoke with Bloody Elbow’s Eddie Mercado ahead of his UFC 202 bout regarding his old roommate Jon Jones, some possible rats in his gym, and the rounding out of his skills as a mixed martial artist.

“There’s no relationship. He had some anger issues. Probably because of stuff he was doing before he left college. We had a pretty big falling out before we left college and that’s that. I’m on my path. He’s on his path. That is what it is.”
