Ramirez jams left wrist after slipping on stairs

SEATTLE — Red Sox first baseman Hanley Ramirez lost his balance going from the dugout to the clubhouse following Tuesday’s 5-4 loss to the Mariners and underwent an exam on his left wrist.
A Red Sox spokesman said no information would be available on Ramirez until Wednesday.
