WR Jones joins Chargers after Johnson’s injury

SAN DIEGO — Wasting little time to bolster depth at receiver, the San Diego Chargers agreed to terms with veteran receiver James Jones on Tuesday.
He told ESPN’s Josina Anderson in a text message that he will sign a one-year contract.
Jones traveled to San Diego on Tuesday for a workout that included receivers Brian Hartline and Lance Moore.
