Luis Santos to Fight Igor Svirid in Main Event of One: Titles and Titans

One Championship, the largest mixed martial arts promotion in all of Asia, announced on Tuesday that former middleweight champion Igor Svirid will take on Luis Santos in the main event of One: Titles & Titans. The event will take place on Aug. 27 at the Jakarta Convention Center in Jakarta, Indonesia. Svirid, a tough-as-nails Kazakhstani, will be dropping from 185 pounds down to welterweight for his next bout, which should be an intriguing one. “Lionheart” captured the One title by torching Leandro Ataides in just 17 seconds but he relinquished his belt to current champ Vitaly Bigdash last year.
