Barters team eye drop in trip

Barters Hill is set to start his chasing career over two and a half miles, with a run at Cheltenham in November a possible target.
Trainer Ben Pauling wants to give his young star sufficient experience over the bigger obstacles but leave enough in the tank for an assault on the big prizes in the spring.
Though Barters Hill got off the mark over hurdles in tremendous fashion, winning his first three races, he lost his unbeaten record in the three-mile Albert Bartlett at the Cheltenham Festival when he was not at his absolute best.
