Blue Jays land Feldman, Bolsinger in different deals

HOUSTON — The Blue Jays made a pair of deals involving relievers on Monday afternoon by acquiring right-hander Scott Feldman from the Astros and sending Jesse Chavez to the Dodgers.
In the deal involving Chavez, Toronto acquired right-hander Mike Bolsinger.
Feldman provides the Blue Jays with the type of swingman they’ve been looking for in the bullpen. He has made five starts this season and 21 appearances as a reliever while posting a 2.90 ERA in 62 innings. Feldman has the ability to throw multiple innings as a long reliever and could be used out of the rotation where the Blue Jays lack depth.
