Khabib offered a fight by UFC officials: ‘Expect good news soon’

After weeks of campaigning for a long-awaited title shot in the lightweight division, Khabib Nurmagomedov informed his fans that he will have “good news” for them in the near future.
According to the Dagestan native, the UFC reached out to his management with a fight offer. He plans to reveal the news in the coming days.
“I would like to answer some questions that have come, and they are mainly linked to my next fight,” Khabib said on his Instagram page. “Soon I will have a fight and I have already proposed a duel. There are some things that I can not tell you, but expect good news soon.”
Days later, Khabib took to social media once again to inform current champ Eddie Alvarez that he was now on the Russian’s “blacklist.” This occurred after Alvarez responded to a fan question on Nurmagomedov’s fighting ability, “Look, I fight the best, and he fights the rest. That’s how it goes.”
So Alvarerez says that I never fight with top fighters and talking about my pro record. I’m not sure where he gets that information, but when I fight vs Tibau he was ranked 15, when I fight vs Tavares, he was considered as best Brazilian lightweight, Pat Healy was ranked 10, when I fight RDA he was #5.
