Despite the fact she didn’t play in Montreal, Serena Williams is still the leader of the WTA rankings, 1555 points clear ahead of Angelique Kerber in second, who failed to close the gap more in Montreal. After winning a title in Canada, Simona Halep moves from 5th to 3rd, sending Garbine Muguruza and Agnieszka Radwanska one place down. Medison Keys reached Montreal final and that helped her to crack the Top 10, together with Svetlana Kuznetsova, meaning that Carla Suarez Navarro and Dominika Cibulkova are out of the Top 10 at the moment. All players that were in the Top 20 7 days ago are still there, with Daria Kasatkina jumping to 27th following her quarter-final result in Canada, and she is now the youngest player in the Top 30, ahead of Belinda Bencic. Kristina Kucova passed the qualifications in Montreal to reach the semi-final, which sent her inside the Top 80, gaining 44 spots. Full Top 100 rankings:
