Ezekiel Elliott mum on investigations, talks football

OXNARD, Calif. — Dallas Cowboys running back Ezekiel Elliott is subject to two investigations regarding a domestic violence allegations, one from the Columbus (Ohio) City Attorney’s office and the other from the NFL, but he steered clear of questions about the investigations as he addressed the media for the first time in training camp on Sunday.
“I’m not going to comment on anything regarding any legal matters but I’m glad to talk about football,” Elliott said when asked three questions pertaining to the allegations.
Elliott was not charged by police or arrested. Four witnesses said they did not see an incident occur. In the police report, Elliott denied assaulting Tiffany Thompson and told police he never lived with here. Elliott’s father, Stacy, released a statement after the incident denying the allegation and that read in part: “The actual evidence in this matter clearly indicates what the real motivation was behind the police being called.
