Mariners trade Miley to O’s for prospect Miranda

CHICAGO — One day after allowing just one hit and one run in seven innings against the Cubs in a 4-1 win at Wrigley Field, Mariners left-hander Wade Miley was dealt to the Orioles for southpaw Ariel Miranda.
Miley was called off the field at Wrigley while he was standing in the outfield during Seattle’s batting-practice session prior to Sunday night’s game with the Cubs.
Miranda, a 27-year-old left-hander from Cuba, has thrown two innings in one appearance for the Orioles this season, and he’s 4-7 with a 3.93 ERA in 19 starts for Triple-A Norfolk.
