ATP TORONTO: Djokovic upends Nishikori for his milestone 30th Masters 1000 crown, and 4th in Canada!

World number 1 Novak Djokovic saved his best tennis this week for the final match, defeating Kei Nishikori 6-3 7-5 in just 82 minutes for his milestone 30th Masters 1000 title, also the 4th here in Canada. This trophy is 66th in Novak’s career, being just 3 behind Nadal with a nice chance to catch him until the end of 2016. In addition, he is now 33-1 on hard courts this season, as only defeat came in Dubai when he had to retire against Feliciano Lopez due to an eye problem. It was a clinical performance from Djokovic in the first set, with almost flawless tennis and all aspects of the game straight at the top, Kei bounced back from a break down in the second set but he felt short in the end.
