The UFC championship curse continues, as Tyron Woodley upsets defending champion Robbie Lawler with a stunning first-round KO at UFC 201.
‘Ruthless’, who was defending his welterweight title for the third time, joins the ranks of Fabricio Werdum, Luke Rockhold and Rafael dos Anjos as another fallen champion.
Woodley, who entered the bout as an underdog, starched Lawler in the first round with a devastating overhand right, becoming only the second man to KO Lawler in the Octagon (Nick Diaz pulled off a similar feat at UFC 47).
