Lucroy vetoes trade to Indians, source confirms

Milwaukee Brewers catcher Jonathan Lucroy has vetoed a trade to the Cleveland Indians, a source confirmed to ESPN’s Jim Bowden.
The Milwaukee Journal Sentinel first reported the news Sunday.
The Indians were one of eight teams on Lucroy’s no-trade list. The Indians, however, will continue to try to persuade Lucroy to change his mind and accept a trade to Cleveland, a source told ESPN’s Buster Olney.
A two-time All-Star, Lucroy is batting .300 with 13 homers and 50 RBIs this season. He has a $4 million salary this year as part of a contract that includes a $5.25 million team option for 2017.
According to reports, the Brewers would receive four minor league prospects from the Indians if Lucroy signs off on the trade. Included among the prospects would …
