Origi wants ‘important’ Reds role

Divock Origi says he is learning and improving all the time as he aims to become an “important player” for Liverpool.
The Belgian made a goalscoring return to action in his side’s 2-0 win over AC Milan in the International Champions Cup on Sunday in Santa Clara, with Roberto Firmino also finding the net.
Origi, on his first outing since turning out for his country at Euro 2016, opened the scoring just before the hour mark with a smart turn and finish.
The 21-year-old shone at times last term but is determined to cement his spot in the Liverpool team this season in Jurgen Klopp’s first full campaign.
