Manchester United’s summer splurge is set to continue after making a move for West Ham United playmaker Dimitri Payet, per France Football (h/t Tom Maston of Goal).
Jose Mourinho is in the market for another attacking midfielder during this summer’s transfer window, and the Portuguese head coach reportedly sees the France international as an ideal fit at Old Trafford.
The 29-year-old enjoyed a magnificent maiden campaign in English football last term with the Hammers before producing some match-winning displays for his country in their run to the UEFA Euro 2016 final.
According to WhoScored.com, the former Marseille player scored nine goals in 30 Premier League appearances in 2015-16.
