Schaub: It’s stupid, but I wouldn’t be surprised if the UFC signs Amir Khan

Amir Khan has been talking about making a jump to mixed martial arts for quite sometime now. Before his knockout loss against Canelo Alvarez, he challenged Conor McGregor and said he fancies his chances against the UFC champ.
More recently, he stated he would just need a “full year” to become a good MMA fighter. A couple of days later, the former boxing champ was seen posing at a UFC gym saying that “UFC training has started”.
Friday night, he downgraded his timeline to just six months of training.
“I think a Conor McGregor fight would be massive. It would be a full MMA fight as I’m not scared of him. But listen I would need six months to train MMA fully and I will spend every day in the cage until I am bang on.”
