Peralta eager for action after being activated

LOS ANGELES — D-backs outfielder David Peralta is a perpetual man in motion. Former Arizona manager Kirk Gibson loved to point out how Peralta was always sweating when he saw him coming back from the workout room or hitting in the cage.
As he returns from his second stint on the disabled list, though, Peralta is realizing that sometimes less is more.
Peralta was activated Friday after being out of action since June 15 with a lower back strain.
