Tennis- Second seed Angelique Kerber eased past Russian teenager Daria Kasatkina in straight sets whereas fifth seed Simona Halep came back from one set down to beat ninth seed Svetlana Kuznetsova in the Quarterfinals of the Rogers Cup WTA Tournament in Montreal.
World No.2, Australian Open champion Kerber took on World No.33 Daria Kasatkina, who had stunned 13th seed Samantha Stosur and seventh seed Roberta Vinci in previous two round. Kerber was comfortable against her and did not let her opponent hold any service game in the first set. …
