Chelsea Transfer News: Latest Andreas Christensen, Loic Remy Rumours

Borussia Monchengladbach have reportedly approached Chelsea with a £15.1 million bid to turn Andreas Christensen’s loan deal into a permanent move. Meanwhile, media reports link Loic Remy with a move to Turkish side Besiktas.
Christensen spent the 2015-16 season on loan with Monchengladbach and impressed greatly. While the Bundesliga side has already secured his services for the upcoming campaign as well, they’re reportedly keen to make sure he stays in Germany on a permanent basis.
According to Bild (h/t Metro’s Jon Harvey), the club has launched an initial £15.1 million offer, which likely won’t be enough to tempt the Blues, who value the youngster closer to £18.4 million. A compromise could be reached if the deal contains a buy-back clause.
Christensen has already made it clear he wants to play regular first-team football, something that might be hard to come by at Stamford Bridge once he returns from loan. The 20-year-old has quickly become a quality option for Monchengladbach during his time in Germany, as you can see in the video below:
