While Astros rookie infielder Alex Bregman is in Detroit for his first Major League road trip, his father, Sam, is back home in New Mexico preparing to defend a high-profile trial case, his mother, Jackie, is driving some of his belongings back from Corpus Christi, Texas, where he had spent some time earlier this season in Double-A before his much-anticipated callup and his younger brother, A.J., is in Lubbock to pitch in a Premier Baseball tournament.
