Rodrigo Puebla promoted into women’s head coach at Flagler Saints, as only the 7th in 42 years

Director of Athletics at Flanger College, Jud Damon, has announced the promotion of Rodrigo Puebla to a women’s head coach, only the 7th in program history that span for 42 years. Puebla joined the Saints squad in the summer of 2014, working with Thomas Hipp, and they had a lot of successes in the last few seasons. In May, Puebla was named ITA Southeast Region Assistant Coach of the Year, after guiding his team to a 21-7 score and to the 10th place in Division II rankings. This was the most wins for the Saints since 2001 season and they finished 3rd in their Peach Belt Conference with 10-2. He graduated from the University of Pikeville in 2002, with a solid playing career, and his coaching job started in that period as well.
